Division

Women's Featherweight

Women's featherweight is the 145-pound division of women's mixed martial arts, and the heaviest that the major promotions contest regularly. Under the Unified Rules of MMA, a featherweight bout is contracted at a maximum of 145 pounds — 65.8 kilograms — with a one-pound allowance in non-title fights and none at all when a belt is on the line. Below it sits bantamweight at 135 pounds.

What defines the division

Featherweight is defined less by how its fights are fought than by how few there are. It has the smallest roster in women's mixed martial arts, and that scarcity shapes everything downstream: matchmaking is harder, title challengers emerge from a shorter queue, and a single fighter's decision to move weight can reorder the division for a year.

The practical consequence is that many featherweights do not stay featherweights. Competing at 135 pounds and at 145 across the same career is common here in a way it is nowhere else, which makes records harder to read at a glance: two fighters with similar tallies may have built them against very different fields. It also means the division rewards adaptability of a specific kind — being able to give up ten pounds to a naturally larger opponent, or to carry ten more against a faster one, without rebuilding a style from scratch.

What you will find on this page

Every fighter Fight Hub records in the women's featherweight division, with their professional record, the gym they train out of, their nationality and the measurements that make up their tale of the tape. Each name links through to a full profile. Records shown are professional records across all promotions, not a single organisation's tally — which matters more here than elsewhere, since featherweight bouts are contested across a wider spread of organisations.

Where to go next

Featherweight has no division above it in women's mixed martial arts, so its only border is with bantamweight, and it is a busy one. The neighbouring division page is listed below, alongside the countries and gyms that produce the most fighters at this weight.
