About this gym

Tiger Muay Thai is a training camp in Chalong, on the island of Phuket in southern Thailand. Camp is the right word, and it is not interchangeable with gym: people come here for weeks or months and live on site, rather than driving in for an evening session and going home.

Why the roster looks like nowhere else

Almost every fighter on this page holds a different nationality. No other kind of room produces that pattern — a neighbourhood gym reflects its neighbourhood, and even a destination gym in a major market keeps a domestic core. A camp does not. Its roster is a photograph of who happened to be in residence.

That has a consequence worth stating plainly: reading this page as a local scene would be a mistake. It is not the Thai fight scene, and the fighters on it mostly did not come up in Thailand. They came to it.

Muay thai underneath everything

The camp came out of muay thai, and it sits in the country where the sport was codified. Fighters who spend a real stretch here leave with things that are hard to acquire elsewhere: clinch work with an actual clinch culture behind it, elbows and knees treated as primary weapons rather than additions, and a tolerance for volume in training that Western rooms rarely ask for.

The limit is on the other side. A striking camp is not a wrestling room, and the fighters who benefit most are the ones arriving with a grappling base already built. Time here sharpens a striking game; it does not construct the answers to a takedown.

What the divisions say

The weight classes are concentrated at the lighter end, with the lightweight band carrying most of it — which follows from both the discipline and the climate. There is a women's entry as well; camps of this kind draw a substantially more mixed population than gyms do, and the training floors reflect it.

The promotions column spreads across several organisations on more than one continent, which is the expected shape when the people in a room are all returning to different places.

The pages below list every fighter in this catalogue whose most recent bout came out of this gym, with their weight class, nationality, record and how each of their last five fights ended.
