About this gym
Entram Gym is a mixed martial arts and Brazilian jiu-jitsu academy in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. The address is a border city, and that is not a detail — Tijuana sits against Southern California, the densest concentration of fight gyms anywhere, and a room on this side of the line trains within driving distance of all of it.
A Mexican scene built late
Mexico has one of the deepest combat-sports cultures in the world, and almost all of it is boxing. That produced a strange gap: a country that turns out world-class strikers by the generation, with very little mixed martial arts infrastructure to convert them. The gyms that filled the gap had to build the grappling side from nothing rather than adapt it from an existing base — a different job from the one Brazilian and Japanese rooms inherited.
The mark it leaves is recognisable. Fighters from Mexican rooms tend to arrive with hands that are already finished — timing, body work, the willingness to stand in the pocket — and a ground game that was learned deliberately rather than absorbed. The order in which those two things arrive shapes a career more than either does alone.
A regional roster
This page is predominantly Mexican, with the rest of it drawn from elsewhere in Latin America. That is a coherent catchment rather than a limited one: a Spanish-speaking fighter from South America who wants North American proximity without North American cost has a short list of options, and this is on it.
The divisions run across the lighter and middle bands, thinly spread, with a women's entry among them. For a gym of this size in a market this young, a women's roster is a deliberate decision — the partners have to be found before the fighter can be prepared.
Where these careers go
The promotions column leans heavily towards the largest organisation, with regional circuits underneath. That shape says the room is regarded as a supply line rather than a stopping point, which is what a young scene looks like when it starts working.
The pages below list every fighter in this catalogue whose most recent bout came out of this gym, with their weight class, nationality, record and how each of their last five fights ended.
