Main and co-main events
Paweł Pawlak beat Damian Janikowski by unanimous decision after five rounds in the main event of KSW 96 at the Sport Arena in Lodz. The co-main event also went to the scorecards: Maria Silva beat Ewelina Woźniak after one rounds at strawweight.
How the card was decided
Across the eight bouts that produced a result, five ended by knockout and three on the judges' scorecards — five stoppages in eight fights. One of the three decisions divided the judges.
Finishes and fight times
The quickest finish belonged to Marek Samociuk, who stopped Denis Górniak at 2:11 of round one, and one of the five finishes came inside the opening round. The longest was Welisson Paiva's knockout of Maciej Kazieczko, 13 minutes and 43 seconds in. End to end, the eight fights filled one hour and 29 minutes of cage time.
Main card against the prelims
The preliminary card out-finished the main card: two of its two results came early, against three of the six above it. Michał Domin (knockout, round two) and Marek Samociuk (knockout, round one) all closed before the judges were needed.
