Magomed Ankalaev beat Bogdan Guskov by knockout at 2:41 of round five in the main event of UFC Fight Night at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Bogdan Guskov had come in as the division's No. 10. In the co-main event, Ramazan Temirov beat Steve Erceg, the division's No. 10, by knockout at 4:21 of round one at flyweight.
Across the twelve bouts that produced a result, five ended by knockout, three by submission and four on the judges' scorecards — eight stoppages in twelve fights. Every decision was unanimous: not one result divided the judges.
The quickest finish belonged to Valter Walker, who stopped Thomas Petersen at 1:32 of round one, and three of the eight finishes came inside the opening round. The longest was Magomed Ankalaev's knockout of Bogdan Guskov, 22 minutes and 41 seconds in. End to end, the twelve fights filled two hours and 16 minutes of cage time.
The preliminary card out-finished the main card: five of its seven results came early, against three of the five above it. Valter Walker (submission, round one), Muhammad Saidov (knockout, round two) and Sam Patterson (knockout, round two) all closed before the judges were needed.
Ten ranked fighters appeared, and three of them were in the top two bouts.
Six weight classes were used, light heavyweight most often with five bouts. Paramount+ carried all twelve bouts, split across a main card and one preliminary block.
