Nágila Goku and Bianca Sattelmayer headlined the night. Goku opened cuts on Sattelmayer’s face, and the doctor ruled during the break before round 5 that she could not continue, according to Portal do Vale Tudo.
The Queen of the Jungle
Goku takes the “Rainha da Selva” belt at strawweight, up to 52 kg, and R$ 500,000. It is her 8th win in 9 pro fights, according to Portal do Vale Tudo.
A night for women’s MMA
The women’s final was the main event, broadcast live on TV Globo. Founder Wallid Ismail called it a real war.
Fabrício Bakai, from substitute to champion
In through the back door
Bakai, from Piauí, entered the tournament as a substitute 3 days before the quarterfinals, according to O Dia. He beat Martinho Farley by unanimous decision, then knocked out Matheus “The Monster” at 4:59 of round 1 in the semifinal.
A final cut short
Against Ernane Pimenta, the reigning Jungle Fight welterweight champion, Bakai controlled the exchanges and took his back. Pimenta hurt his right knee in round 2 and could not continue, at 0:30, according to Portal do Vale Tudo and Portal Saiba Mais.
A long road
At 37, Bakai started in the QG da Luta social project in Teresina while working as a bricklayer’s helper. He has trained since 2017 with the Ribas Family team in Varginha. According to Portal Saiba Mais, he promised to buy a house to live in with his daughter.

Rafael Cabeça knocked out Matheus Araújo at 1:42 of round 1, and Cleiton Rocha stopped Manoel Aranha at 2:11 of round 1. Hugo Cunha, Hari Menezes, Ulisses Silva and Luis Felipe Vieira won by submission.

Regiane Borges, Túlio Macena and Lorrany Santos won on points, Santos by split decision.
