Court McGee says goodbye to the UFC at home in Utah against Eric Nolan at UFC 332

Court McGee is hanging up the gloves at home. The Ultimate Fighter season 11 winner, 41 and 22-14, fights for the last time on Saturday, October 3, at UFC 332 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, against Eric Nolan, 8-5. In his home state of Utah, McGee is 10-1. Nolan, a former Marine, is chasing his 1st UFC win.

Key takeaways

Court McGee's final fight, 16 years after TUF

An Ultimate Fighter winner

McGee won season 11 of The Ultimate Fighter on June 19, 2010, submitting Kris McCray in round 2. In the UFC he went on to beat names like Robert Whittaker, Josh Neer and Tim Means.

The last contract

On August 10 he announced he had signed his last contract: he always negotiated 4-fight deals, and this one is ending. At 41, he counts this as his 29th UFC fight, including the 4 in the TUF house.

An up and down finish

Since 2022 he has alternated: a win over Ramiz Brahimaj, knockout losses to Jeremiah Wells and Matt Brown, a decision loss to Alex Morono, then a submission of Tim Means in October 2024 and a decision loss to Michael Chiesa in June 2025.

Court McGee, a remarkable story

Declared dead in 2005

Before his career, McGee was declared clinically dead after a heroin overdose in 2005. Once revived, he had to relearn how to walk and talk.

Sober since 2006

Sober since April 2006, he speaks in schools, prisons and rehab centers through his prevention projects.

At home in Utah

Born in Ogden, McGee is 10-1 in his career in Utah, including 2-0 in the UFC. He finishes in front of his own crowd.

So, that's exciting and preparations are underway for what will be my retirement fight.

Eric Nolan, a Marine chasing his 1st win

A military path

Nolan enlisted in the Marine Corps right out of high school in 2015 and served until 2019. That is where he started MMA.

0-2 in the UFC

He joined the UFC on a short-notice fight, lost his 2 outings and comes in at 8-5. Bettors still make him the favorite against the veteran.
